Have the athlete sit with their foot at a neutral 90-degree angle, resting comfortably.
Wrap the elastic bandage around the ball of the foot (below the toes) one to two times. This helps anchor the wrap.
Continue wrapping upward using a figure-eight motion around the foot and ankle to provide support and stability.
Wrap a few inches above the ankle joint to complete compression, then secure the bandage.
