The Story Behind SidelineRX

I didn’t start SidelineRx because I had all the answers. I started it because I kept showing up to the sideline as a pharmacist — and realizing how much critical information never made it there.

I played collegiate sports, spent years coaching youth softball, and now I’m deep in the thick of it as a sports mom. I know what it feels like to watch your kid limp off the field and have no idea if it’s “walk it off” or “go to urgent care.” I also know what it feels like to stand at the pharmacy counter and realize parents are making decisions with incomplete information.

SidelineRx exists to close that gap.

Every post is written and clinically reviewed by me — a licensed pharmacist — with the real-world perspective of someone who has been an athlete, a coach, and a parent on the same sideline. No vague wellness advice. Just evidence-based guidance written in plain language for the families who need it most.

My mission is to give you the tools to be prepared for every practice and game, combining the insight of an athlete and coach with the clinical standards of a pharmacist. Whether it’s comparing ice packs, game day supplements, or building the ultimate DIY first-aid kit, the goal to take the guesswork out of the gear so you can be prepared for every bruise, jammed finger, and heatwave like a pro.
